DANCE COLORADO HISTORY

In January of 2000, Dance Colorado Dance Studio opened in Old Colorado City.  Dance instruction in all styles of partnership dancing was (and still is) offered, including: American Smooth, American Rhythm, International Latin, International Standard, Cabaret, Theater Arts and Country Western.  Brad Ackerman, founder and owner of Dance Colorado, also organized and ran the Pikes Peak Dancesport Festival, a local Ballroom and Latin dance competition based in Colorado Springs.
